SUN/AGE SPOTS (LIVERSPOTS, SOLAR LENTIGINES)

Age or sunspots are changes in skin colour associated with older skin. They’re harmless flat brown discolorations which usually appear on the backs of the hands, neck and face and are a sign of over exposure to sunlight.

TREATMENT

A fine probe is used to gently lift and remove the top layer of the effected pigmented skin only, revealing the clear, non-pigmented skin below.

AFTER TREATMENT

Healing crusts will form on the area of treatment which will naturally fall away over the next few days as your own individual healing process takes place. The newly developed skin will initially appear pink or paler than the surrounding skin but overtime will normalise.Aftercare instructions are given and must be adhered to.

Warts and Verrucae

Warts are small, rough, viral growths on the skin. They are very common and are usually spread by direct skin-to-skin contact or indirectly through shared contact with contaminated surfaces
e.g. swimming pool, changing room floors and are highly contagious.

TREATMENT
Electrolysis treatment can be uncomfortable but is highly effective. Heat energy is applied over the whole surface of the wart and then into the wart itself and energy is released, getting right to the root of the problem. A stinging heat sensation may be experienced. More than one treatment may be required on particular warts. Verrucae may need several. This method of removal is so much more successful than freezing the wart off by your GP or by applying any of the over the counter products.
